From Industrial Roots to Premier Luxury Builders

The foundation of SJ Construction represents more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. Founder Sias Joubert built the business from the ground up, starting with crucial industrial and forestry contracts for Mondi Forest, Safcol, Rainbow Chicken, and Assmang Chrome. These early projects—ranging from specialized safety-compliant facilities to complex civil infrastructure—forged an unyielding standard for quality, structural integrity, and project management.

In 2003, Sias expanded operations into Nelspruit to meet the growing demand for high-end residential housing and multi-unit developments, successfully delivering projects like Sheppard Park and Senator Park (48 residential units combined). By 2008, SJ Construction continued to take on massive commercial and mining infrastructure, including a 2,148 m² office block, 1,236 m² laboratory, and medical clinic at Nkomati Mine.

Today, SJ Construction stands as one of the Lowveld’s most trusted names in luxury estate builds, commercial developments, and high-end renovations—delivering every project with the same precision and dedication that started it all.
